the “Great UN-Depression Carob Cakes”

Had to clean out my grapeseed oil Vegenaise and leftover chocolate bars, so threw it all together with sucanat & GF flour and a moderinized treat makes it back from a bygone era of our history. During the Great Depression when eggs and butter were scarce, bakers used Mayo instead! It lends an interesting taste and moisture to it!  This version is Vegan and GF! –probably could have made it sweeter, though! This was inspired by blogger Chocolate Covered Katie 🙂
