Healing Hummus – raw, sprouted, vegan!

This living foods version updated from the previous “happy-making hummus” recipe:





1.25 cups sprouted chickpeas (save a few for decoration and planting!)

1/4 cup of organic tahini (or put in raw sesame seeds and some water to make your own–or skip entirely if you need to avoid sesame and alter your seasonings adjust for taste.)

2 cloves of garlic and 1 small shallot minced

1/4 cup of pureed lemons (including the skin and peel!)

1/2 cup of whole, seeded, green olives (not just olive oil–the whole fruit is vital.)

1/4 cup cold-pressed flax oil

1/4 teaspoon cumin powder

3 Tablespoon nutritional yeast, 1 heaping Tablespoon of your favorite Harissa, 1 Tablespoon of coconut aminos

dashes of paprika to garnish

1/2 cup of purified water on hand for mixing needs

option: parsley and fresh seasonal peas (sans pods) if you want a greener version 🙂

SIMPLY FOOD PROCESS TOGETHER UNTIL SMOOOOOOTH and dip into with the flax crackers! EAT UP!  It’s really good for you 🙂
